Using Form Templates
Browse, search, and load a pre-made template into the form builder — then customise it to fit your workflow.
Templates give you a head start by loading a complete, ready-made form into the builder. You can then customise it just like any form you built from scratch.
Browsing templates
You can explore the full library of templates at fluentforms.co/templates. Each template shows a preview of the fields included, so you can find the right fit before opening the builder.
Templates span a range of industries including Automotive, Construction, Property, Food & Beverage, Health & Fitness, and Safety.
Using a template in the form builder
From inside the form builder, click the Templates button on the canvas toolbar. A dialog opens showing all available templates.
Searching
Use the search bar at the top of the dialog to find templates by name, category, or field type. The template count at the bottom updates as you filter.
Selecting
Each template card shows the name, description, field count, and category. Click a template to load it instantly into the canvas. The form title is also set to the template name.
Replaces existing fields
Loading a template replaces any fields currently on the canvas. If you've been building manually, make sure you're happy to start over before selecting a template.
Customising after loading
Once loaded, the template is yours to edit. You can:
- Rename any field labels
- Add, remove, or reorder fields
- Change field types or settings
- Adjust the row layout (1–4 columns)
- Rename the form title
Everything works exactly the same as building manually — see the Building Forms Manually guide for full details.
