Usage Limits & Plan Allowances
Exact limits for forms, submissions, AI credits, storage, and team size on every plan.
Every Fluent Forms plan has defined allowances that reset each billing cycle. This guide covers exactly what counts towards your limits, how resets work, and what happens when you reach a cap.

Form templates
Form templates are the reusable forms you create in the Form Builder. Each unique form counts as one template regardless of how many times it's assigned or submitted.
- Free: 3 templates
- Pro: 50 templates (base) — plus 10 more for each additional user
Deleting a form frees up the slot immediately. Archived forms still count towards your limit.
Submissions
A submission is counted each time a user completes and submits a form. Draft saves do not count — only the final submission.
- Free: 100 per month
- Pro: 1,000 per month (base) — plus 500 more for each additional user
Submission counts reset on your billing anniversary date, not the first of the month.
AI credits
AI credits power three features:
- AI form generation — 1 credit per form created with AI
- Voice Fill — 1 credit per voice transcription
- AI text fill — 1 credit base + 0.2 per field beyond 5
Monthly allowance
- Free: 30 credits per month (capped at 3 per day)
- Pro: 200 credits per month (base) — plus 100 more for each additional user
Monthly credits reset on your billing anniversary. Unused plan credits do not roll over to the next cycle.
Purchased credit packs
If you run out of monthly credits, you can buy a one-off top-up of 1,000 credits from Company Settings.
Purchased credits are different from your monthly allowance:
- They are added to your balance immediately
- They never expire
- They are only consumed after your monthly allowance runs out
- They are shared across your entire company
You can monitor your current credit balance and usage from the Dashboard or Company Settings page.
Image storage
Image fields and photo uploads count towards your storage allowance.
- Free: 10 MB
- Pro: 5 GB (base) — plus 2 GB for each additional user
Storage is cumulative — it does not reset each month. Deleting submissions with images frees up space.
Team size
- Free: 1 user (owner only)
- Pro: Unlimited users — you pay per user per month, and your limits scale with your team
You can add or remove seats at any time from Company Settings. Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing.
Removing a user from your team frees up the seat immediately. The user loses access to all company forms and data.
What happens when you hit a limit

| Team size | You cannot invite new members until you purchase more seats |
Checking your usage
You can view your current usage at any time:
- Open Company Settings from the sidebar
- Your current plan and usage are shown at the top of the page
The usage display shows how much of each allowance you've consumed and when your next reset date is.
